TALK BACKS AND THEIR USE/PROTOCOL

The talk back system or (cams), is a headset that enables the director to give commands to anyone who is using them. They can also use it to talk to the director. Before you talk you must identify yourself and who you want to speak to. For example 'Camera 4 to floor manager' this is what would be a good example. when you ask the director to speak to them. They will either reply Yes or wait 1. You must keep what you want to say short an to the point. No general chattering over the talk backs as people could miss very important information and miss a cue.
